Our Simple Farewell option · £1,750
This option includes funeral director and cremation fees for the published arrangement. There is no ceremony for family and friends at the crematorium.
- Care provided locally by R Good Funeral Services.
- An oak-veneered coffin.
- Dressing in their own clothes or a suitable gown.
- Visiting during working hours before the cremation.
- You can choose the day of the cremation, from Monday to Friday.
- You can be present as your loved one is welcomed at the crematorium, for peace of mind.
You may choose to arrange your own gathering or remembrance at a time and place that suits your family.

Before you decide
We’ll confirm how your loved one will be brought into our care, how the cremation will be arranged, and whether your circumstances involve additional charges. Ashes collection is free of charge. The price above is for cremation; burial fees would be different.
How the arrangements progress
- Talk through your needs. Tell us where your loved one is being cared for, who is making the arrangements and any wishes they left.
- Confirm the arrangement and estimate. Discuss collection, local care, the coffin, visiting and the cremation arrangements. Ask us to explain anything that changes the total before deciding.
- Agree visiting and cremation details. Working-hours visiting is included in the published Simple Farewell option and should be arranged with the team. We will explain the arrangements for the unattended cremation.
- Confirm the arrangements for ashes. Ashes collection is free of charge. Ask when the ashes will be available and speak to us about collection or delivery arrangements.

- Does the collection location, distance or an out-of-hours request change the cost?
